Ya this is reprehensible online behaviour. Jaqing off an obviously hot button issue like throwing a bomb into a crowd. He didn’t even seem to come back and interact with the “discussion”.
Forced me onto twitter to look at this post so I looked at his other recent stuff. He is clearly falling into the alt right rabbit hole. You guys were right.

I only looked at his recent posts as I don’t want to spend time in X.
It is super odd though as there really isn’t a hint of his alt-right side if you listened or watched the hundreds of hours of long form content he puts out a year. Even his streams don’t really have it outside of his long held anti PC obsession. If you watched all that only, like I did, you would never know he is tweeting and retweeting far right memes and shit on X.
It really shows how awful X is for society. It truly is the greatest radicalization engine ever created.

I think Daniel is shrewd enough to know that most X users wont listen to his long form content and most long form listeners wont take his twitter account seriously, so he may be tailoring each of those content machines to the group most likely to ingest them. It still makes him a shit person taking advantage of the dregs of society though.

Maybe but I think an easier explanation is X is a ceasepool that brings out the worst in everyone. Without X so many people don’t shift right.
I agree. My explanation is likely giving him way too much credit. Twitter allows him to spout his hateful shit without any pushback and he takes advantage of it. Trying to say the same shit in the major poker media, on youtube, or on podcats likely wont get the same reception. If there is one thing poker players arent light on, its vanity. So he says what hes thinking in the places where he will get the most praise. Just hammer that dopamine button

I tried listening to dnegs new podcast with his wife and yikes it is terrible. He is also letting his alt right flag fly way more in this one. The episodes claim to have a topic but end up just a rambling marital spat between the two.

Couple since then. That was the one that ended my listening. They barely talk about old Vegas. It’s just stupid rambling and bickering. So bad.
