well yeah, but the poker news (not hands) here is that Ryan Feldman who started LATB took his talents to South LA along with the regs (Garrett Andy etc). Nick who was a fishreg in the LATB is apparently his producer partner.
I know this is relatively old news but I just learned about it yesterday.
In addition to the Hustler streams I also like the TCH and Lodge streams from Texas.
Never really got into LATB because it felt like people playing to the camera instead of playing like they would in a real game.
Paul Pierce played PLO last night. I’m going to watch it later.
They said the mid stakes games were invite only and they purposely selected amateurs and crazy players. I doubt the higher stakes games that regularly had pots that could buy a Tesla had guys who cared about how they looked on a stream. Andy and Garrett have a reputation for being wild players but in deep stacked NLHE you are going to see a lot of huge bluffs from good players. I doubt they could be too choosy when it comes to filling a table with a min buy of 100K.
Art is extremely good imo. Garrett is obviously great. I actually think the high stakes games played really interesting and had some dynamics that were similar to what you see in live casino games (on a much larger scale).
I agree the 5-5-10 games were usually people trying to get some air time.
My buddy who is a solid pro played on an app with Paul Pierce. Said he was not good but would crush him over and over again to the point where I can just mention The Truth and watch the PTSD roll in.
