According to Hellmuth, Jordan enjoys many poker games, including no-limit badugi. He said that the offer to play some poker came after hanging out with the NBA legend several times.
Podcast host Sam Panayotovich and Hellmuth discussed some of the parameters involving playing against Jordan, who is apparently known for putting in long sessions at the table. Hellmuth ultimately had to turn down the invitation.
“He challenged me once and I didn’t have a lot of money in town,” Hellmuth said. “I was stupid. I should have just called my friends and said, ‘Hey, (send me some money).’ And (Jordan) would have wanted to play until seven in the morning."
Only hellmuth is such an awful nit that he turns down playing a bad billionaire.
He really is the absolute worst gambler in history. The true nut low.

Can he flat? What possible hands would he flat but not three bet!? Seems like flatting would be things like aa or kk only. Flatting here sort of seems stronger than three betting.
If you watch the stream, Ludacris 3 bets everything. So 3 betting to isolate with the better hand 8 high is on point for him. A flat from him might invite others to call so shipping kinda makes sense. It’s just funny to me.

This isn’t news or live stream but i have to vent. I’ve been forced to deal with PokerStars in the past two weeks due to an EPT trip and apparently account issues and my god what a scammy shithole this company had become. When compared to what it was during Isai’s days it’s clear he doesn’t only deserve to be in the Poker HoF, he deserves a fucking nobel peace prize.
