Rooting hard against foxen.

Gotta give DNegs a lot of credit for those vlogs. They are pretty entertaining and really good for getting people excited about playing poker.

He does seem to genuinely enjoy (most) of it. It also seems like he doesn’t travel a ton throughout the year, so it probably makes it easier to really grind during the WSOP.

good guys win again. dude is running impressively bad in this final

geez bill just insta calls a 40% bet.

Why do you think LHE is dumb?

Foxen busted 4th to the wunderkind. 22 years old and might hit his second 1.5m score in a single week.

DN late registered for the 10K Omaha tournament while still in the Gladiator (he had just taken a beat so was somewhat short), ending up surviving for a while longer so just blinded out his entire stack. Must be nice to be able to torch $10k like that.

A decent chance that GG is funding or massively subsidizing his tournament buy-ins. They probably wanted him to play the Gladiator.

I don’t think there is any evidence for this.

He once found a $25k cranberry under his bed
he didn’t know he had lost.

He is doing ok. :grinning:

dn is far richer than any other poker pro i’m pretty sure. his deal with stars was stupidly lucrative. i don’t think money plays any role with his decisions.

It’s common sense. GG hired him to be a poker ambassador. They should want him to be out there playing as much as possible with the highest visibility. Funding tournament buy-ins has been how some poker sites have used their pros/ambassadors. Playing the Gladiator instead of the 10k O8 is bad for bracelet-hunting. Why would he play a $300 tournament unless his sponsor wanted him to or he had some massive prop bet on it that made it worth his time?

It’s not like Negreanu is busto. You don’t need to defend your fellow Canadian from possible slander. I assume he can play whatever he wants on his own dime. But he’s not stupid. He’s not going to turn down that money.

there’s literally 0% chance gg has any say in what dn does during the wsop
