You need to watch the rest of her session, or re-watch it if you’ve forgotten. Someone ran the numbers and she had a 20% VPIP before the J4o hand. She isn’t amazing, but she’s not clueless either. When she acts clueless, or spouts off word salad garbage, it should make your more suspicious not less.

The hand itself is evidence, especially in the context of her other play. I play with some guys who make ridiculous calls all the time, and they usually lose. If they did this we’d laugh at them and laugh at the guy who bluffed off into them, then move onto the next hand.

She was playing pretty tight otherwise.

Her word salad afterwards is evidence, her giving the money back is evidence, Bryan stealing off her stack and her not pressing charges is evidence, her changing her story a gazillion times is evidence, and on and on.

What we don’t have his proof. But we have plenty of evidence.

So Robbi claimed that there was more stealing going on by Bryan, which obviously would make his theft from just her less suspicious in the cheating scandal. Vertucci contradicts her:

She’s plastic surgeried horrendously.

My new working theory is that the twins were somehow switching out every few hands. One twin thought the hand was J3, the other thought it was J4. This explains the disconnect in the explanations!

Prahlad’s the Riverman of accusing people of cheating. I’m back to 90% no cheat.

Lol a bit different, but fair enough. Still think his insight is valuable. He’s played a shit load of live high stakes NL in a variety of circumstances.

That doesn’t make him an expert on cheating in high stakes games.

Yah, if I’m being serious, it is interesting insight.

I wonder though if some of these current/former cash game end bosses are so used to playing tough lineups that they’re a bit out of touch with the thought processes of noobs and thus can’t comprehend plays that might “make sense” to the noob.

Has the guy with the most hands played at Party Poker .01/.02 NLHE from 2004-2007 weighed in yet?

He said he’s been cheated several times.

Yes if they’re playing private games they’re used to whales. Look at the rest of her play. She folded 22 on the button in either an unopened or single raised pot. She played tight preflop mostly. There’s no pattern of reckless play.

Then you have a few hands where the play stands out as wildly different and suspicious, her behavior during and after those hands is suspicious/different, and if you start watching certain others at the table coincidences start piling up.

I’ve been suckered many times so I am an expert on detecting being suckered is a pretty interesting take.

Hey, you’re all famous now! She’s been reading this thread.

My read on her is that she’s a pathological liar who would be incapable of telling the simple truth even if she’s completely innocent. It feels like she’ll search for whatever narrative makes her look like an intelligent, good poker player. She’ll lie to avoid looking stupid, even if it makes her look guilty. Her problem is that it’s hard to come up with a plausible narrative where she’s both smart and non-cheating.

Inexperienced players can sometimes have weird starting hand rules.

In the J4 hand, she is in the straddle for 800 in a 100/200/400 + 400 BB ante pot. Garrett makes it 3k from the 3rd blind and it’s just 2200 more for her to call. There are probably a decent amount of casuals who think you have to call with any 2 there due to dead money or position or whatever random thing. People can be inexplicably loose or tight defending the BB compared to the rest of their ranges for any number of reasons.

You can’t just say, oh well she folded 22 one hand (you don’t even know the action in that hand, raise/unraised, relative positions, etc.) so it doesn’t really tell me a whole lot. Show me a sample of hands where she’s playing a tight range after straddling to 800 with 3 blinds and a BB ante in the middle to a single (less than) pot open-raise AND in position.

There are tons of people who call any 2 with straddles to a single raise who might otherwise be fairly tight pre. People sometimes do nonsensical things when straddles or tons of dead money is involved, plus she was probably taught “position is everything” which is another factor leading her to call here.

She also clearly has some type of vendetta against Garrett and sometimes when casuals see other players who they think bluff too much, they’ll make losing calls pre b/c they think they can snap them off or win a monster if they hit.

I don’t think the J4 call pre is all that strange when you factor in all of the above.

What would a solver say is a decent defending range in the 4th blind at 100/200/400/800 + 400 facing a raise of only 2200 more against a player OOP? It’s probably super wide. I doubt it’s J4o wide, but it’s probably like half a BB mistake, which duh, casuals make mistakes like that and way worse constantly.

I’m back to 70/30 no cheat.
