Isn’t it confirmed he wasn’t a serial criminal?
I think that website showing him as a current inmate is just outdated. Seems with such a unique name that the rap sheet has to be his (ages also match).
i’m not a lawyer etc but like if i walk around in a vegas casino and pocket chips off people’s stacks and the casino knows who i am, i’m not going to jail?
how do hustlers not press chargers? why can’t they?
Not their money.
Also, there really isn’t such a thing as pressing charges. Prosecutors decide whether to bring charges. Individuals can file a police report or complaint alleged they were victim of a crime. Here, the main question would be whether Bryan was authorized to take the $15k. Hustler’s view would have nothing to do with that - it would be 100% a question for Robbi. So while prosecutor could still bring charges without her cooperation you have no case as you can’t prove that the money was wrongfully taken. Thus, my understanding is that usually in a situation like this, if the victim is not complaining, the case will be dropped. You could force her to testify with a subpoena, but prosecutor’s don’t like to do that to victims.
aren’t casino chips hustlers property?
Probably, but I’m not sure why that is relevant. It’s not against the law to give someone casino chips - it’s only a crime if you take someone’s chips without their consent.
seems weird to me. i would think that unless she testifies that she gave it to him, someone taking chips off other peoples stacks is a good enough reason to arrest him
If it were caught in real time, sure, you’d be arrested on the spot (or at least detained until police could ascertain if you had permission). But here, police already spoke to Robbi and knew she didn’t want to file a complaint.
Also, never forget that cops are lazy so aren’t going to go out of their way to do their jobs if they don’t have to.
- Give employees real time access to hole cards.
- Give employees a signaling device.
- Have a broke degen looking at the cards and signaling at the same time.
This is the actual design. What could go wrong?
God this is all so infuriating. Berky going on and on that Robbi isn’t doing enough to prove she is innocent. I wonder why she can’t do something impossible. 🤷
Does anyone have a link or timestamp to the alleged 4h and 6c getting switched in another deck?
Better yet, did anyone even actually see this? I tried to scroll back through the stream but never found it. Maybe I overlooked it but not even sure it was claimed to be on the stream.
I checked it. They were 4 mins apart but definitely different decks. Roughly 1h48m and 1h52m in.
I wonder if the card swap is a manual process and they could do the swap on the wrong deck in their system?
It is delayed, because they say stuff like “I was told X showed up 30 minutes in” and other stuff like that all the time.
Well if that’s him LMFAO at HCL owners. Nice security mr. ex cop.
No way. Missing step there is the victim giving a statement to the police stating she didnt give the thief permission to take them. You’d hope a casino would alert a patron if they noticed a theft like this and then refer it on to the police, but I bet a lot of casinos DGAF.
Maybe Unstuck Technologies LLC should design a foolproof new streaming system and sell it to the casinos for bigly dollars.
Not sure how careful pokernews would be with something like this, but this article confirms his criminal history.
I’m about 90% sure it’s manual, but I don’t know if the system will let you enter two 6c in the same deck. If so that’s very possible.
I mean the odds that two cards would be swapped and one would be in the case hand and the other would improve it significantly are fairly low, but it’s not impossible.
Got ahold of a sometimes HCL player, and he said he’d pass my rfid security idea on to Ryan.
You joke, but we’ve got enough talent here to likely pull something like that off spectacularly. Maybe not the gumption, but the talent is here.
