No need to get personal here
Here’s the best angle of the vibration, and a close up of it (starts around 6:50). If this doesn’t throw up a red flag that moves people off 100% innocence positions, I don’t know what to say. She uses a time bank in a super weird spot, then a few seconds later the vibration starts. Her leg isn’t moving at all and it sure looks like perfectly rhythmic vibrating that would match a device more so than natural movement. She makes her decision the second the vibrating stops.
Is it possible to create that vibration with some sort of movement that’s not visible anywhere else in the body? Perhaps kicking the chair without moving her leg? Seems very difficult, but maybe she can.
And here’s the odd picture of something in her pants:
It’s not allowed to be a cell phone, and it’s not her mic pack - other clips show that the mic pack is on her back left. This just so happens to be near where the vibration seems to be coming from, if it’s not a weird kicking the chair without moving her leg thing. Her response to this picture was that it’s her hip. Anyone seriously buying that her hip looks rectangular?
At 12:20:
Other Player: Do you have pocket 3’s?
Robbi: No.
Other Player: You’ve got a 3 in your hand?
Robbi: No, this is a pure bluff catcher.
She didn’t misread her hand @Clovis8, but keep falling back on the misread explanation, posting dickish gifs at me, comparing me to QAnon, and loling to the max.
So we are back to - if you misread your hand or make a horrible play you must then tell everyone you made this mistake and you must be truthful and explain why you did it? What are we doing here. There is zero evidence other then dude getting beat in a ridiculous way and throwing a fit. The chair vibrates but no one else notices is hard to believe.

She rechecked her cards right before calling. For 10 seconds. There’s video of it.
-
After calling and before tabling she’s asked if she has a 3, she responds that she does not. There’s video of this.
-
She does not act surprised whatsoever at only having J high at showdown. Again, you can watch this play out on video.
Her behavior does not match that of someone who misread their hand. I think the “She thought she had J3,” explanation is on extremely thin ice. I don’t buy it.
There’s video of it, and nobody at the table has an angle to see the vibration and her unmoving legs. People bounce their legs at the table all the time, it’s fairly normal to see someone’s shirt/chair moving. The camera angle, however, shows that it’s not her leg.
If she’s this bad at poker, then I feel bad for her that she’s getting accused, and if the investigation exonerates her, Garrett owes her an apology and the money back.
But while some of her other players were bad, none were bad enough to come anywhere near this.
The dichotomy between this play and her other plays does not match the, “She’s a totally clueless whale who smashed call at the luckiest time ever,” explanation.
Smashed call in a terrible spot. Im more open to her and guy had some sort of signals and she called based on that and then didn’t know how to explain it.
I’m open to all of the possibilities, including that she didn’t cheat and it’s the most insane hand in televised/streamed poker history. But I’m at like 90-95% she cheated.
Also from some of the stuff Vertucci and DGAF have said, I don’t think we’re ever going to get a clear answer. I think Vertucci wants to protect HCL more than anything else. They were apparently in damage control mode during the delay, with Vertucci racing over to the casino. Then he decided not to search Rip’s bag (this has been stated by both Vertucci and Rip on interviews with Joey).
OK, and who even suggested searching Rip’s bag? The fact that that was considered tells us that there was something discussed off camera in that first 30-60 minutes that has not been relayed publicly by anyone. Because the initial reaction was all about Robbi’s play and Garrett’s reaction.
Anyway, if they didn’t inspect their clothes/bags (I’m assuming clothes because they didn’t search the bag, seems odd to check one and not the other, and a search of clothing is more invasive. Robbi also said something about wishing she let them search her body/clothes, which would indicate that they didn’t.)… But if they didn’t do any of that, did they even inspect the cards and table? All they’re saying is that they will investigate the situation and they have not found any evidence of cheating so far. If they cleared the cards already, why not say so?
My guess is that the final solution will be an announcement in a couple weeks that they found no evidence of cheating, but that they will be tightening their security procedures and that their consultants have discussed the new procedures with top poker, casino and tech experts, and they now believe the game is more secure than ever and definitely safe to play. We’ll never see Robbi or Rip on stream again, and there won’t be much explanation - they’ll say it left a bad taste in their mouth or whatever. Garrett may even give the money back and issue an apology, perhaps being refunded by HCL, or perhaps behind the scenes being told he’s got to take one for the team if he wants to keep playing on HCL. Other pros will back him up and say his reaction was reasonable and his apology was classy. It’s hard to imagine HCL continuing without Garrett, simply because his stamp of approval on their game integrity is now essential.
Also, for what it’s worth, Rip has made at least one very strange play on stream, which would make some sense if you knew the opponent’s hand but sucked at poker and executed the bluff poorly. I haven’t watched enough hands to have an opinion, but in one hand he 3bet Q4hh, called a 4b from the initial UTG raiser who had AK, then bluff-raised for like 80% of their stack on 832r no heart against a small downbet. The opponent jams, he’s getting like 11 or 12 to 1, and he calls off and runs it twice and bricks. That could fit a dumb as fuck cheater profile, or it could fit a maniacal whale gambling profile.
But that makes for at least four very suspicious hands involving Robbi and Rip. J4, J8dd, AK vs A8 on Robbi’s end and his Q4hh hand.
The entire relationship between Rip and Robbi is also strange as fuck. It’s either two open marriages, in which case more power to them, or they’re putting on an act around the casino.
This is one of those situation that seems to come up a lot in Internet arguments precisely because it’s so strange that people get locked into their point of view, and it’s hard (if not impossible) to prove or disprove either side. Like, regardless of what the explanation is for the shaking, it’s fucking weird.
I can only think of two explanations. One is that she is somehow kicking the chair with her foot without moving her legs at all (cause we can see that her legs aren’t moving) or her upper body at all. If so, that’s fucking amazing. Like anyone who’s played a lot of live poker has seen people bounce their legs nervously, tap their feet nervously, tap their chair, etc. I’ve never seen that happen with someone that still in the legs. I’ve tried to replicate it sitting here and I cannot even c+ome close.
The other is that some device is vibrating, which in and of itself isn’t proof of cheating per se, but I guess it’s proof of violating the rules. Like if no electronics are allowed, then anything vibrating is a banned device, even if it’s a massage gun or something that’s on the up and up.
Also it seems worth pointing out that in the video the chair and her midsection are shaking, and nothing else. So it’s not like the floor is shaking from some rumbling underground or whatever, from a pipe oer a vent or a tiny earthquake. And if the entire chair was shaking you’d expect it to reverberate through her whole body. So that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Anyway, in either case, we’re way down the decision tree or situation tree into a super weird and super rare branch. Either Robbi has super human chair shaking ability, she snuck a massage gun or something along those lines in and it went off for a few seconds at the worst possible time and she doesn’t want to clear the air about it now and nobody involved saw it, or she’s cheating in one of the dumbest ways imaginable.
To me the simplest explanation there by far is moronic cheating. But obviously I cannot prove it or disprove the others. If I saw anyone cause a chair to shake in that way through their own movement without moving their legs or their upper body, then I’d drastically change my opinion about the shaking.
and i undersold it.
It’s not, that’s one possible method.
Ok but give me another explanation. Her upper legs are perfectly still. She’s rapid fire kicking the chair without a hint of movement in her legs?
I’m on the record that what I believe to be the simplest explanation is super unlikely in a vacuum, but I can’t come up with anything more likely.
What have you got?
This doesn’t fit the theory of a device that merely tells whether a player is ahead or behind.
Being on stream creates an incentive for players to play to the audience and make weird plays, playing hands they shouldn’t and making weird bluffs so that they can be perceived as “fun” players.
Agreed, it’s just another strange data point. Him having hole card info and her getting an ahead/behind buzz would make sense.
Without her legs moving?
My experience is that the chair moves but so do my legs, quite a bit.
Has anyone tried to recreate the chair vibration by putting their phone on vibrate, sticking it in their back pocket, sitting down, and having someone call to see how much their chair actually moves?
Look at the wider angle before they zoom in or after they zoom in. You can see most of her upper leg and it’s perfectly still. Berkey also discussed this on Only Friends, which I posted above. I posted the approximate time stamp on that one too, around 2h12m or something like that.
all data points are weird if you want them to be. go find Reza plays. dude must have been vibrating like a motherfucker.
Didn’t Reza play terrible and lose a shit ton?
To be clear, you see one leg, but not the other.
Well you can see way more of her right leg but a little of her left and I don’t see movement in either.
