$140k isn’t really enough to justify a suit, imo, unless you can get other damages or attorney’s fees too. Of course, I’ve seen wealthy idiots light money on fire pursuing legal actions over dumber shit.

I think I figured it out: Whoever had the remote control to the dildo misclicked vibrate when they meant to select tickle.

Yeah, if this hand happened to you all you can do is just say “well played” and move on.

This is the single most lol fact for the “like duh she obviously cheated” team.

I’m always skeptical of people who pop off about legal action until they actually file something… That being said, this could be a spot where an innocent person [or even a guilty person who thinks there isn’t enough evidence to prove they were cheating] might want to sue just to clear their name even if the suit isn’t going to make them much money.

Faraz is going to stake his sterling reputation supporting a cheater? Zero chance.

The Hendon thing makes it all make even more sense.

The situation stinks of something flucked up but what evidence is there that cheating happened in this hand? That she made a ridiculous call? It’s not enough imo

It isn’t obvious that she cheated. I can’t honestly tell either way. Her broken brain definitely works as a point in her defense. But now we’ve reached the stage where people’s opinions have calcified to it definitely was or wasn’t cheating, to the point where one side looks at a ridiculous play followed by one of the most insane calls of all time for hundreds of thousands of dollars saying it’s not even evidence of anything suspect.

as someone pointed out, the like duh she obviously cheated team consist almost entirely of libertarian crypto poker incels with no clue how to analyze any real life situation. wHy wOuLD sHe GiVE tHe mOnEY bAcK iF SHe’S iNNoceNT pepe.gif

Garrett’s story is inconsistent and contradictory. His support of HCL makes anything he says untrustworthy.

Because there are perfectly mundane reasons for her call which have been explained clearly. She is a new player who misread her hand. She clearly states she thought she has threes. She says it several times on the stream and in the interview on stream. She has said it on twitter since. Her coach has said it.

If we simply allow that a new player may have misread her hand none of this is the slightest bit out of the ordinary. If she in fact had a 3 in her hand this hand is never discussed beyond a single “lol sick call”. She thinks she has a three which is why she says “I thought you had ace high”.

This simple, and completely understandable, order of events makes this totally mundane,

  1. she is new to poker and the stream
  2. Garret has been targeting her with bluffs she has seen watching the previous two sessions
  3. she decided to take a stand
  4. she misread her hand and thought she had j3 (as she did the very hand before)
  5. she felt really embarrassed having misread her hand on the live stream and got defensive and confused after everyone made a huge deal
  6. she acted like most women and tried to diffuse a very tense and aggressive situation, with men yelling and her and each other, by giving the money back.

This is by far the most likely course of events and explanation. It’s not 100% but I’d guess something like 98/2.

This was basically my exact read (so close it’s kind of scary) on the situation as soon as I watched it and before reading all the “analysis” and it still hasn’t changed. And my opinion was informed by watching several hours of her play the previous 2 sessions.

The other thing that is funny is Phil Ivey keeps playing in the game with her as does Andy who repeatedly says “it’s impossible to cheat”. Neither skips a hand.

they don’t count man. do they even have a nft profile pic?

Every single HS Poker pro has supported numerous people who have turned out to be cheaters, welchers, scumbags etc.

Thats part of why the “poker pros think she cheated recs dont” angle is so stupid
