Hating on bonomo for multi accounting on partpoker 20 years ago is super dumb imo. Just about every high stakes reg done worse than him. If you want to hate him do it for his ugly pink hair he had for years.

Bonomo is basically single-handedly (ikes and xnerd help out occasionally) defending leftism on twitter from the hordes of libertarian-ish style poker bros so y’all might want to take it easy on him.

This is the number one thing I hate about the left. We are so fucking eager to eat our own. The purity testing is maybe the best example of self-destruction I can think of in a political movement.
Guarantee if you asked Bonomo if he was wrong to multi-account he would say yes. He fucked up. He admitted it.
We really need to stop with the idea that one mess up, especially when really young, means you are a terrible person for life. We are suppose to be the side that views the criminal justice system as a tool for rehabilitation! The same logic needs to extend to lessor fuckups like saying something awful on twitter or multi-accounting decades ago.

I’m harsh on cheaters, but Bonomo’s multi-accounting thing was 16 years ago already and he was still a teenager (an old teenager). Assuming he’s flown right since then, I’m willing to let that transgression die in the past.
If ever there was a proper use for bad faith, anyone who is truly still in the poker world (so not guys who vaguely remember stuff from 2p2 boom years) and throws “cheater” at bonomo is talking in bad faith. Like DN after he was butthurt.

lol, been a long time since I’ve watched the tuff fish videos. I remember his early ones were at 10/20 and then you got the gradual descent in stakes as he circled the drain. “Oh Empire, you have just screwed yourself up if you get in here” as he gets brutally set over setted for 2k.

Does anybody remember a famous BBV thread where the guy is a depressed total degen and he’s constantly going broke, and he writes in a weird, but very descriptive and hilarious way. It was a huge thread, some of the stories were kinda ridiculous, so it probably wasn’t real, but whatever. Dude was a legend. I don’t really remember much of what happened, but it was great, although I’m not describing it very well!
