I am not legally allowed to complain about paying bad beat drops. I hit one at Cascades casino ~2005ish where my share was $25k, supposedly it was the biggest in the history of B.C. until that point. At the time I was riding the knife edge of crushing poverty, and was probably months away from homelessness, so it truly was life-changing money. Was probably bigger for me then than a $1M windfall would be for me now.
The great part about it was that I didn’t even get stacked, it was so obvious by the way he was acting that he had the A on an AAA45 board. Lost the minimum with my KK.

Congrats on the life changing money but LOL at that even being a bad beat. There are 44 combos that beat KK on AAA45. That’s less of a bad beat than losing with the nut straight on a three flush board.
