You cant figure out the difference between sample size in a player with $30 million in lifetime winnings vs a player who is down money in tournaments and tracked games? Is it really that tough for you to actually not see the difference?

How am I punching down? Do you believe she is a long term winner in those games and lineups? Under what pretense do you believe this? How many lineups was she a top 2 player at the table? In cash games, its near impossible to be a long term winner without being one of the two best players at the table. Would you stake a player who is rarely, if ever one of the 3 or 4 best players at a given table?

The reason I would stake her in that cash game over hellmuth is I have tons of data he is terrible, I know he refuses to learn while she has said she is actively studying poker, and she likely gets ev from people like you who can’t see past her chest.

She isn’t winning in those games because she is playing with better players. She is being a major nit, correctly, but that won’t be enough when you’re the 5th or 6th best player at the table.
Go through the lineups. For those games, when invited, you know the lineup before you sit. No one with half a brain would stake her in a game with Garret, Rampage, Mariano etc. Could she maybe be a slight winner if she has the God seat on krish and you take away two pros? Maybe!
That you ignore the pertinent questions of her skill vs other players in the game while getting all riled up because you have to defend a woman online, and will mansplain to actual women who are on the other side of the argument is pure Clovis.
Probably B. Solvers are absolutely worthless for their game selection and skill level.
People like you (who don’t even use them!) massively overrate how important they are.
With the stack depths and opponents they are playing with, solvers are worthless. Now, some of the theory behind the information has merit. But, her using a solver would be like me watching dozens of hours of tape of Lebron before heading out to my YMCA for some basketball.
Solvers are good for 100bb stack depth online cash games with a regular player pool.
They are good for tournaments with similar conditions.
They are not good for live cash games thousands of bb deep where your opponents are either absolute crushers much better than you or absolute droolers playing every hand. Being perfectly balanced in these kind of games is absolutely terrible advice!
Winning a bracelet requires luck, but it shows they at least have some discipline, tournament experience etc. Very few outright bad players every year with bracelets.
I dont know about all the other players, but in a Mariano vlog he didn’t seem to respect her/change his range based on her stack.
Seemed to kind of think of her as the table nit, free BB, if they’re on your left you get two buttons kind of thing.
But I mainly mean in that a standard online cash game with most players around 100bb, you have optimal, correct ranges. In the Hustler game these ranges are wildly different. Studying solvers to play vs Garrett or Krish is an absolute waste of time.
The union angle is not a stretch at all. The local youth theater in my city used to have one or two performances per year at the performing arts center using volunteers (kids looking for experience in the field) for tech and sound. Union complained and demanded they use union employees and the theater director told them to get lost and they haven’t had a show there since. I’m not a fan of this particular union.
Turns out this guy was on my right splashing around taking a break from playing 50/100 plo. Where he’d just taken down a 60k pot. And he had brought some other whales with him. Nice guy.
