Poker Hands and Strategy

I mean, on the flop when someone goes all in and someone else calls, that should be a red flag.

Should literally never go broke with the underfull that deep in a single raised pot.

Ok thanks confirmed plo donk

Although if it was any defense it was an all in every hand 5am table

Texas?

Tampa

Yea that’s kinda how it goes in these super deep juicy games. I’m just not going broke there in a single raised pot that deep. You can literally nut peddle and make $100 an hour.

Yea I paid off JJ, but it was a reg (I think) not a donator. So definitely a punt. But the silly stuff I’ve seen in this game just made me question myself.

Ignition withdrawal curse under way. Withdrew the rest of my profit today before those fucks could steal any more of it and have the balance back down to the $200 I put on there with no intention of getting back. Fuckers are lucky they’re offshore.

It’s basically a full PSB so you have to have 33% equity from bluffs + .5 * odds he plays K4 that way (probably close to 0%). unless he’s totally nuts or bluffs a lot in weird spots, including a c/r river jam, you aren’t even close.

After flatting the super dry flop in a pot with an all-in player when you block a 4 and no Js, you should be a little careful. Getting in 40x the preflop pot with underfulls is a bad idea.

This what I get for doing the drunk PLO! I was only in for $400 though. It was the most obvious river fold lol.

Really, his check-jam is pretty bad unless he thinks you’re a drunk donk because there’s a bunch of ways that he can be beat and you should be folding everything worse.

Yawn

Ignition is complete garbage all around. Tables freezing constantly during a tourney and when I get back on half the table is sitting out. If I complain they’ll tell me the issue is on my end. Example of stellar customer service:

$130/hr is totally sustainable right? /s

I’ve ran really good since the casino opened but have also became a lot more disciplined since I can play whenever I want. The 2/5 game here is $400-$1000 buy in and is filled with fish except for like 4-5 regulars over 2-3 tables. I’m sure I’ll go on a down streak eventually but this has been a fun 6 weeks. My goal is still to get to 12k profit by the end of the year.

That is a pretty tiny sample size! Do you feel like you’re running over EV? But I do think close to $100/hr is doable in a $1000 cap $2/5 game, especially during a period of particularly good action like a new casino opening and if you’re playing during the best times.

It’s funny because I feel like the best games have been Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons compared to the obvious Friday/Saturday nights. It takes too long to get into a game for most randoms to wait. The 5-10 game consists of the same 5 players abusing the 2 randoms they get. It plays way to big for me. There was a $30k pot last night.

Yea, i mean you never really know when the random donks are gonna stroll in. What kinda of waits are we talking on Fri/Sat night? How many 2/5 do they get going? But yeah, no reason to play 5/10 if you’re making over $100/hr at 2/5! And a $1000 cap is pretty great in comparison to Horseshoe Hammonds bullshit 500 cap!

3 tables of 2/5 on the weekend. 1 guaranteed every other day with 2 sometimes. Wait time can be up to an hour. Really like the $1000 cap because I can buy in for less if I know I cover the recs.

When I was playing live around the country (errr I guess NOLA, Chicago, Detroit and Vegas), I found that best game was nearly always the second highest level that typically ran unless their highest game was 1/2 or 1/3.

Yea, unless you’re a crusher, in most casinos you’ve gotta be pretty selective about the 5/10 games (which are often 5/10/20) that you hop in.
