they’re gonna throw bigger sentences at proud boys if they can, they were major organizers of the entire event. probably covered their tracks well enough to avoid the real serious charges.

When I saw that Anthony Ornato (the super sketchy Secret Service guy who later was Trump’s deputy chief of staff for operations) retired I thought well there’s no way it’s that easy to get out of cooperating is it:
Ornato has indicated that he still intends to attend the interview, according to an email obtained by The Intercept, but since Ornato will be a private citizen, investigators won’t have testimonial subpoena authority to compel his cooperation.
This secret service agent discovered one weird trick to get out of depositions. The DOJ hates him!

What do you mean what do we need a coup for? Why in the hell do you think we just spent all that money on an insurrection? The whole purpose of the insurrection in the first place was to get the government nice and tipsy topside so we can take 'em to a nice comfortable place below the capital and, you know, they can’t refuse to overturn the election, because of the implication.
