yes, I agree they should’ve thought about the part where this is all in public but this is how the meeting goes so this is what happens

k, now (all I’m looking at is a chryon on fox’s web site which is complaining about some trump policy getting reversed I’m not gonna listen to that and kill my ears ya know) it’s about some guy charged on jan 6 committed suicide so that makes more sense for them to be upset about

I recall reading and posting about a coincidental visit that Tarrio and/or some other Proud Boys made a few days/weeks before the insurrection. It was logged as being part of a tour, and they claimed he never met with anyone. I suspected that was bullshit. If they can prove otherwise, that could actually make these hearings matter. Big if, though, and there’s also the big if of “could actually.”
They could literally pick anyone they wanted. Doesn’t even have to be a member of Congress.
Hakeem Jeffries comes to mind. Tim Ryan, but he probably wouldn’t want to touch it.
