I’m white and my sister is mixed-race. We shared an absolute beater of a car for about a year when we were 18 & 20.
Me: ran a red light directly in front of cop; as in I drove around the car that was in front of me which was stopping at the red light. I made eye contact with the cop as I was going through the intersection. He saw the whole thing. I got a warning.
Her: drove like a grandma then and now, and has worked as a truck driver for years now, aka she was a better and safer driver than me. Pulled over at least 6 times and got a ticket every damn time.
Location: We lived a couple miles from where George Floyd was murdered.

My friends who now live in Tahoe and SF were part of a cult in CA for awhile and the leader dudes who befriended them when they moved there killed and buried a few people. At least one of my friends testified in court for it and shit. There is a documentary show somewhere online from back then about it. These sound cultish.
What’s funny is that all the people I know that really hung their balls (and tits) out living the life they really wanted to live; climbing and skiing and hiking and making music and art and all that, where also totally into the beta yoga artisanal organic lifestyle. I’m confused.
