I haven’t seen Braveheart in a while. Totally down next Friday. Every other night has NFL football.

We were scheduled to watch Die Hard 3 next Friday, but I’m sure people will be fine switching or if we also have a watch party for Braveheart on Saturday.
It’s just marketing towards incels and people who hate their lives. Their podcast is no less a fantasy then porn is.

There is nothing less alpha than listening to a podcast about how to be alpha.
And sure some dudes are alpha. It’s just something you’re born with - largely correlated to testosterone level is my theory. But you gotta be you. Pretending to be someone else is never a road to any kind of happiness.
Most true alphas I can think of that I know are not aging gracefully. It’s hard to adjust when you have your glory days in your teens and twenties.

But you would think these alpha charlatans would pick something alpha people do to aspire to. Like maybe some soldier of fortune shit or human trafficking or something. And not stuff like climbing steep cliffs, which only beta skinny fat granola munchers are into.

I can’t find it but Patton Oswalt got in an argument with some MAGA chud who accused him of being beta. He replied something like “Dude, have you looked at me? I’m as beta as they come”.
It was a brilliant retort. Oswalt totally owned that he is who he is and there’s nothing wrong with that. And of course you can argue that really makes him alpha and we can have a semantic derail.
Personally I always want to be Omega. When I’m in a group I like to walk at the very back so I can see what’s going on. I feel uncomfortable if anyone is behind me. I don’t mind leading in my job, but I hate the physical act of being at the front of the pack. I don’t know what that means.

Most alpha guy I can think of is a relatively small 80yo psychiatrist friend of my f-in-law. Incredibly nice and generous guy; reserved and quiet, but seems to just be completely at ease and confident.
Like if you look at Joe Pescis - he’s way more alpha in The Irishman than he is in Goodfellas.

Except for a few people, the baddest people I know are the ones who never say anything before getting pissed and just punch/slap you if they have an issue. No talking. So few people are that way. The people who talk their own way out of fights is almost everybody. I’m now agreeing with you? I dunno. Alpha is also not taking shit from morons even if you might get bopped imo. Your wife making you feel inferior should not be a reason for needing to be alpha though. It’s a weird power struggle thing.
Its just a generation of people raised on the idea that the coolest person they could be is Brad Pitt in fight club. But, they’re not going to look like Brad Pitt. This is just 15 years of recycled garbage. 15 years ago it was PUA scams. That these more attractive, successful dudes, or outright grifters could just teach you to be a different person and get any woman you wanted.
