Joel Osteen creeps the fuck out of me. His face is plastic and he never says anything but platitudes. At least the other TV preachers try to make complex points sometimes. They’re all horrible, but Osteen is like the devil incarnate.

I know this is in Czech, but it’s off of a left-wing news source in the Czech Republic. I think it provides an idea of how people who are mostly on the left perceive other races. Just use a Google Translate extension to know what it is in English.

If there’s any positive, it’s that most of my students tested did not show any enormous preferences towards one race or another on the IAT (personally I showed slight preference towards white people). Perhaps racial tolerance is growing among the zoomers. Tolerance of Russians is a different story these days.

Cheerleader posts an obscenity-laden rant to Snapchat. Other cheerleaders complain to the coaches. Coaches suspend cheerleader for a year.
The school district argues that they need to be able to police off-campus online activity in order to deal with cyberbullying.
To be clear, her social media posts weren’t directed at anyone, it was just something like “cheerleading fuckjng sucks” after she didn’t make the team. Just some kid harmlessly blowing off steam but I guess the adults involved had to literally make a federal case out of it.
Good thing she didn’t tell them history class sucks balls.
Cheerleading culture is weird. This doesn’t happen if the other cheerleaders don’t narc on her. Clearly, the wanted her off the team.

A lower court ordered her back on the team. The school district, backed by the Justice Department, is the one pushing the case, claiming they want clarification on the ability to deal with online bullying and harassment that is off-campus.
Yeah but why press it if your teammates and coaches don’t want you there
