According to the ~first Google result on Sumer, the story of the civilization is like the plot of a science fiction story. I know this to be true because Sargon (who conquered Sumer) was a character in the STOS ep Return to Tomorrow.

The aliens in To Serve Man were giants. Just coincidental, Iām sure.
Thereās a remastered version of that game on the way, Iām very hyped for it.
Hell if I know. All I know is that people invest and make money off of it. Just enough to be tempted to invest but not enough to know what Iām doing.

But couldnāt it be that since they invented writing, they just decided to write everybody else out of history? That way they get credit for the plow too, which is a pretty big deal.
Come to think of it, the same actor plays a giant alien robot in Star Trek ep What Are Little Girls Made Of? Sherry Jackson was in that ep too, also a Twilight Zone actor. (Ofc there was a lot of overlap between the two showsā actors, including Nimoy, Kelly, Takei and Shatner among the ST regs.)
I remember an appearance of They Might Be Giants on Letterman. Dave asked, āWhen will we know?ā That was a long time ago, and we still donāt know.
The Sumerians should have invented the virtual plow. They could be monetizing the hell out of that to this day.

Basically the logistics on how to invest, how to withdraw, how to treat the investment itself, its forecasting, how it can be used and so on.
I feel more comfortable with index funds. Put the cash there and think about it once per year.

Iām aware. Iāll certainly see what people say about it, but currently Iāve been indulging in Path of Exile, which has way more depth, complexity, and replay-ability than D2 could have ever dreamed to have had when it was made. Iām curious but skeptical about the remake being worth more than a playthrough for nostalgiaās sake.
So one of my friends from when I was like 18-22 hit me up recently and is homeless with three kids. Sheās currently staying with a guy but he lives in a 55 and older community and sheās like 38 so they keep getting in trouble for her staying for longer than like a week.
Iām trying to think how to help her. Sheās an awesome person, super smart. I just donāt know how you can crawl out of a hole when youāre a single mother with three kids.
I was thinking of giving her a some money. Is that something I should do? To help her get food for the kids and stuff.
Man such a shitty situation.
