Who is this about?

:joy:

I find it a strange pass time of a older generation & there’s absolutely loads off stuffed animals in the old historical places.

Mostly birds I’ve seen :eyes:

It’s the 1st time I’ve seen the fighting frogs tbh… Interesting story.

“Probably fake”

Are you suggesting that two frogs might possibly have had a sword fight?

LOL

It reminds me of one of my favorite video game characters:

I’m generally against the killing of animals, especially for sport or entertainment, but man after I saw that, I really wanted a cool taxidermy piece like this. I love weird stuff like that.

James Bennet, brother of Senator Michael Bennet. Wikipedia says his accomplishments as New York Times editorial page editor include hiring Bret Stephens and allowing the Tom Cotton op-ed piece calling for using the military against George Floyd protesters, which ultimately cost Bennet his job.

My wife and I just had the biggest argument we’ve had in 12+ months. I need some opinions. If you hard boil eggs in a pot is it necessary to wash the pot after?

Of course not. That pot is sanitized.

Do you clean the pot after boiling pasta?

I do after pasta, because I add olive oil to the water.

Ms. Conwoman disagrees with me about the boiled egg pot. Apparently there is gunk left on the pot from the eggs. Now I’m debating whether to tell her that I’ve never washed the pot after boiling eggs.

I think you rinse the egg pot and wash the pasta one. This is definitely something my bf and I would argue about.

We’ve on opposite sides - Mrs. Tilted never cleans the pot and I think that is disgusting. Assuming the egg leaves no residue at all, then sure I’m with you, but that is a hell of an assumption from something that just came out of a fucking chickens cloaca…

Water over a certain temperature rinsing is just as good as washing anyway really

I’m thinking I just don’t tell him.

Tell her you have an insatiable desire for butt sex.

A pot with egg residue will be the least of her concerns.

eggs definitely leave residue. it’s not as bad as pasta though. I’d reuse an egg pot, would never reuse a pasta pot. That’s disgusting. There’s so much shit left over that comes off of the pasta.

Yeah I would give both a quick rinse and scrub, but the protein break and oil (if used) in the pasta pot is also going to get a little soap.

I don’t get the mindset of not washing something that you know leaves a residue even if it’s not super obvious (eggs)

in cooking, if something passes a smell test, it’s usually good. I also am very lazy.

Y’all (and my wife) are a bunch of heathens.
