Non-Political Ranting: Unleash Your Anger ITT

Buy vinyl only. Problem fixed.

I don’t know where else to post this. This cartoon came up on my FB and it’s driving me nuts that I don’t get it. Maybe I should post in the memes thread. People there seem good at deciphering stuff. Can anyone explain it? Obviously, has something to do with the lower left panel

The original had “SLUT” in the bottom left, still trying to figure out what this one is.

If it said slut or if it was somehow a bra size, I’d get it. I just can’t figure out what the hell that lower left panel is supposed to be. Is it a programming code?

Why would the pilots know programming code.

Maybe morse code? But that doesnt seem right since you cant distinguish dots from dashes.

Semafor maybe? With the middle line designating right fron left?

Maybe it’s implying pilots can’t read and they can only recognize landing strips (it looks like maybe an airport landing strip layout?)

There’s also this explanation from reddit:

I think it means that all the men come to help when she is trying to do something, but can’t manage it on her own. When she manages to write HELP perfectly nobody comes. When she can’t put the rocks right, they all come to help her.

Based on the link eyebooger provided, it might be a minimalist depiction of the woman getting violated by multiple rescuers. Regardless, it seems to be based on some meme you would only know if you were both extremely online before the pandemic AND really into specific gaming e-comics.

Mega +1 to Youtube Premium. For the longest time I let ablockers do their thing but it’s getting harder. I finally sprung for it once I had a kid and realized we’re both just sitting through ads now but only on the TV or phone! No ads now, I can download stuff, uhh, that’s pretty much about all I care, but I think that’s worth.

This makes the most sense so far, but why the parachuters?

Oh, I didn’t see the parachuters.

This one would make more sense then:

It’s showing that the men will get to her any way they can.

Um. This doesn’t seem right GPT

This comic appears to tell a story about a person stranded on an island who is trying to signal for help. Here’s a breakdown of each panel:

  1. The person is shown washed up on the shore.
  2. They regain consciousness and sit up.
  3. They look around and stand up.
  4. They begin to gather rocks.
  5. They arrange the rocks on the sand to spell “HELP”.
  6. They stand back to admire their work.
  7. A plane flies overhead.
  8. They look up, hopeful.
  9. They seem relieved as they see the plane.
  10. The bottom left panel shows that, due to the curvature of the beach, the rocks actually spell “HELL” instead of “HELP” when viewed from above.
  11. The person looks puzzled and disappointed as the plane flies away without noticing them.

The bottom left panel is crucial because it reveals the misunderstanding: while the person on the ground believes they spelled “HELP,” the curvature of the beach distorts the message into “HELL,” making it ineffective for the rescue plane to see.

Sorry to hear this. I will stop complaining about my neighbor who burns their plastic once a month.

Well, yesterday he finished the load so I’m on 27 hours now of silence, wind and birds. … I’m sure it will start up again soon. Enjoying what’s here now.

Stephen King pisses me off.

It’ll be at least a hundred years before we are allowed to have an honest-to-god horror movie about a clown that murders children because that asshole had to go and take that premise and waste it on some bullshit about a thousand year old immortal spirit trapped because of an Indian burial ground and the killer clown was inside us all along or whatever the fuck I stopped paying attention three hours ago.

Nah, someone will come up with the “deep” idea of making a movie about a clown that murders children but ACTUALLY the clown is a Good Guy! OMG so sophisticated!
