It is apparently typical for meteorologists to be climate change deniers. I read something years ago that suggested that is has something to do with professional jealousy towards climate phds, but that didn’t really ring true to me. Something weird going on for sure.

Yeah, comparatively to Canada ringing the doorbell in the US is more dangerous. But some now are more afraid to open their own door, not because eveyone collectively compared crime statistics to that of Canada and began to panic but because of lucrative click bait which has certainly paid off in the last decade in its attempt to create irrational fear in ringing a doorbell.
I wonder if it has something to do with their jobs being weather prediction on short term time scales, which is difficult, and they conclude that these people projecting weather (climate, actually, but whatever) years in the future can’t be right
Need an actual Soros-backed, highly secretive shadow force that targets and goads extremists in a variety of ways, then stops their clock.

Apparently the building with my doctor’s office was shot up today.
Should be noted that Serbia has the most guns per capita of any country in Europe.
America has three times more than Serbia per capita

So sex offender in Oklahoma who served sixteen years and committed another sex offense in prison and also got caught with a cellphone to commit the crime got good behavior. He then went and killed six people on the eve of his trial with a 9mm.

he was going to trial for the offense in prison it appears, so that leads me to believe that the doc was unaware of the offense while they had him. i haven’t looked into much, but in a complete guess, he was sentenced to 20 and served 17- or 85% rather than 50% which is required for a lot of violence/sex offenses. the cellphone would have been a class “x” violation which would have negated the 3 years of good time he got, and generally the okDoC isn’t a liberal bunch, if they knew they would have got him with it.
