So they didn’t go in because they were waiting on ballistic shields, but now it turns out they had one.
Some hid under a table that was covered with a tablecloth. I’ll leave out the details, but one girl played dead the entire time.
Yeah incredibly something like 9 kids and 1 teacher out of 3 teachers and 30 kids who were in the two adjoining rooms survived.
That one guy also looks like he’s wearing a vest. Other guy probably is too but harder to tell from the camera angle.

And at least one girl called 911 from inside multiple times while the cops stood outside.
Teens these days are bunch of QUITTERS! In my day if you shot up a school you had the work ethic to finish the job!

I think it was from being well-hidden/playing dead. One boy said when the border patrol was getting close, they yelled out if anyone needed any help. One little girl who had been hiding near him yelled back. The gunman came over and shot her. According to the kid this was right before they shot the gunman.

Should be interesting because even if they have no duty to rescue, if they take an affirmative act that is grossly negligent and causes harm, you’d think they’d still be liable.

Every active shooter training out there tells you to keep quiet in one of these situations, a SWAT team should have absolutely known better.

See my post in the ban the cops thread. SCOTUS has consistently ruled cops have literally no duty to protect anyone or enforce any laws. It’s 100% discretion.

They’re pretty clearly setting up Arredondo as the fall guy. Surely there were no other systemic failures or cowardice and incompetence being quietly swept under the rug.
