I don’t think hunters or the self-defense crowd would necessarily oppose either regulation.
It seems as if whenever “gun regulation” comes up it’s a political loser. Maybe Biden could brand it as “crime reduction” (or something better than that but along those lines)?
My starting point is registering all guns because I believe the federal government should be gathering more data on its citizens, then going from there based on what the data says.

The government should have way more information on citizens than it currently does.
After finding out the distribution of guns, I’d like data scientists to do analysis and come up stuff that can be used politically.
