And they didn’t even die
Open for business
This line was a throwaway in the article but stopped me cold:
It was Colorado’s worst mass shooting since a gunman killed 10 people at a Boulder supermarket March 22.
Amazing that we just accept this as part of the American experience.
I guess you hate freedom?
Only sort of. Still like to have the freedom to live without getting shot by a neighbor.
THAT’S SOCIALISM!
It’s still OK to be sad, even for a long time, about losing people we love when it’s their time. I have been all out of grandparents for a while, and I still miss them.
It sucks regardless.
I’m sure the NYPD will say he just had a bad day.
Oh wait, he has an Islamic last name. Nevermind.
I check CNN pretty regularly and didn’t see this story on the front page of the US website. Sad state of affairs.
Quark: I should’ve listened to my cousin Gaila. “Quark,” he said to me, “I’ve got one word for you… weapons.” No one ever went broke selling weapons. But did I take his advice? No! And why not? Because I’m a people person.
If there not guns he would have just killed six people with an iron skillet.
Don’t forget those people would have just died of something else anyway. Guns are no worse than the flu!
Quark: I should’ve listened to my cousin Gaila. “Quark,” he said to me, “I’ve got one word for you… skillets.”
Doesn’t work. Good thing that scene got rewritten.
Just an aside Bryce, but really enjoying your posting here and on 22.
Ffffff
Gun violence is something Russia has in common with America.

EDIT: Czech language article says it’s 9 dead students now and that it was two gunmen who attacked.
Mass shootings are the new flu.
