I should also note that making someone a moderator isn’t up to me or any of the other moderators. It’s ultimately up to the admins, who I believe like to stay out of forum politics. So I would suggest that we take some time to hear objections to any votes on both sides. Based on that I will make a recommendation to the admins, and I expect the other mods will as well, but they will ultimately make the call.
