I think intentions matter, too. Just a personal thing for me to be mindful of how often we absolve ourselves of the impact of our choices simply because we had good intentions.
had this same discussion with professional gamblers who are betting on the contest. its insane. he’s literally number 1 in head to heads vs trump everywhere, +18 with independents. more than 2x the new turnout in Nevada. All of his issues poll well. He’s the most popular politician in America. His rallies dwarf everyone else. The person I was talking to thinks that Klobuchar has a better general chance.
the fact that rank and file broke so hard for Bernie in the Culinary Union thing is amazing as well. this is really good. I’ll be in California the next 10 days canvassing and then it’s time to vote. We can sew this thing up on Super Tuesday.

I would say you are wrong. The MSM is an important institution upholding democracy. For one, their willingness to do deep dive reporting on Trump is the main thing keeping his approval rating low.

I remember watching Chris Matthews go after Phil Donahue on MSNBC for not supporting the Iraq war. Donahue had the best ratings on the network but they fired him for speaking out against the war. Now every chance he gets Matthews says he was against the Iraq war from the start.
