I don’t know how Springer will turn out, but I like the thought process of using the trade exception to acquire a second draft guy with upside instead of a depth veteran.

I think the Saddiq Bey thing is just because he seems to turn into Caleb Martin every time he plays the Celtics. I checked it last night - Bey’s now a career 39 of 79 from 3 against the Celtics.
