National Basketball Association - 2022/23 Season (Part 1)

Lots of missed calls going against Lakers in the 2nd Q.

LeBron getting mauled on fastbreak. AD getting hip checked by Joker. Will be tough for Lakers to win on the road if Denver gets such a friendly whistle.

Ban league stooges stanning for the refs in every sport.

Itā€™s staggering to think what it would look like if they reviewed and overturned every terrible call in an NBA game.

Brown knocks Ruiā€™s head off and is shocked the call is made. Nuggets pretty entitled.

LMAO she literally just asked him which defensive strategy adjustment they made for G2, and he said play harder, because thatā€™s the nice answer that diffuses calling out a shit-for-brains sideline reporter for asking a question that dumb.

LeBron looking mighty washed up these days. He might end up below 20% on 3s for the playoffs.

His finishing has also declined big time, a bunch of missed layups in this game that you would never used to see

I was just exhausted by Bam after one half.

At least 3 more games of this nonsense.

Itā€™s nonsenseā€¦ this one killed me too:

Butler Corner 3

Martin just walks right into him.

And Tatum commits an offensive foul/ push off on half his possessions, none of which are ever called.

Sounds like Harden is going back to Houston. Though I canā€™t find details if itā€™s straight up free agent or some kind of sign and trade

Itā€™s funny because the leak on the doc firing was harden was part of the reason why the fired him.

But the smoke he wanted to go back to Houston has been there all year. I believe it.

The Rockets have enough cap space to sign him outright.

Sure - but he can get more from a sign and trade. And possible Houston is dumb and desperate enough to do it.

Seems like a terrible move for all parties involved. I guess maybe it helps Houston sell tickets, but that probably fades pretty quick if they are still terrible next year.

Under current CBA rules, there is no difference between the maximum contract Harden can get as a free agent vs as a sign and trade.

Hmm, I completely missed that. So Sixers can pay him more if he stays, but he gets same from Rockets whether sign-and-trade or just free agent.

Yes. They got rid of allowing the same raises in a sign-and-trade that you can give your own free agents a few CBAs ago. The Sixers can include an asset to give Houston an incentive to allow them to create a trade exception, but Fertita hates Morey and might not want to help the Sixers.
