Sad and all but also a little bit lol

The Oklahoma City Thunder got brutal news about Chet Holmgrenā€™s right foot.

Per ESPNā€™s Adrian Wojnarowski, the seven-footer will miss the entire 2022-23 season because of a Lisfranc injury.

I was pretty sure he was gonna be ineffective one way or another, but this wasnā€™t what I had in mind.

Who will have a more significant NBA career?
  • Chet Holmgren
  • James Wiseman

I am convinced Wiseman is already a bust. I donā€™t think he will do anything.

The new Tim donaghy documentary is on Netflix today. Havenā€™t watched it yet, but have heard itā€™s worth watching.

Untold: Operation Flagarant Foul was pretty good. BUT, it was very disconcerting. Itā€™s pretty clear all the problems that lead to this happening still firmly exist in the league and state of officiating today.

Already starting

The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired Donovan Mitchell in a trade, sources tell ESPN.

Giving up 3 unprotected picks and 2 swaps

Well that came out of nowhere! In an implication that only I care about; that basically guarantees the Pacers get the Cavs FRP next year.

CAVS

Seems like a good trade for both sides right? The rare win-win.

My dumb first look take is that cavs paying too much but im not a mitchell fan

Yeah I think Mitchell is good but not good enough to offer a ton for.

But like with Minnesota and Gobert, what else can Minnesota or Cleveland do?

Agreed although Iā€™m not a fan either. He just strikes me as a cocky doucheā€¦ especially if he really didnā€™t even attempt to make it work with Gobert.

Woahā€¦. They were a bit of a dark horse. Donā€™t know if I should laugh or cheer the Knicks, who seemed like really wanted him.

Interesting move for Cleveland. I donā€™t like Mitchell much at all, but could be good fit with that young team.

Of the three players are they giving much up? They have been trying to get rid of sexton. Markannen is something I guess but how old is he and was he really in their plans as a young developing team? Mitchell still young enough to be on same time table.

Seems like a decent win-win.
