Steph obviously behaves with pr in mind which is meh. But his very genuine joy he has for his teammates and being a very unselfish superstar makes him extremely likable. He just seems like a great dude who is happy for other people’s success and happiness.

Plus he plays on the court with a lot of joy.

I mean these dudes don’t want to sit and talk to media all the time answering the same dumb questions a million times. Only people who enjoy that are people who like to hear themselves talk.

Was Barkley elite?

Kareem

Magic is the best parody account on Twitter.

Cs -4 for game 3 so was wrong about one thing. Game 4 is for the players, imo. No plans to rig either way.

Time to put these playoffs out of their misery.

Don’t get the hate for these finals. None of the three games were down to the wire, but all have been a lot of fun to watch. Even Game 2, hated seeing the Celtics destroyed but gotta appreciate every opportunity to see Steph do Steph things. Man’s 34. Scoring 31 a game in the finals on 50% shooting from 3 against the best defense in the league. It’s ridiculous.

Loved seeing Time Lord doing Time Lord things on a big stage. He deserves it. Dude was awesome this year, and not playing / playing injured all postseason he hasn’t been able to show it to the nation. I assume he’ll be compromised on Friday with only one day rest.

Both teams are great. I hate that after every game the conversation just becomes one team is a bunch of bums and the other team will run away with it. It’s a great series. Either 34 year old Steph drags his team to yet another one, or a bunch of young nincompoops figure it out. It’s compelling TV.

Quite disagree with the “both teams are great.” Either winner would be weakest since mavs

Nah - both of these teams would have worked that Toronto team from a couple of years ago. Remember they only won because all those Warriors players got injured. They’d have zero shot against either of these teams healthy.

Boston’s season long advanced stats are great - and if you look at January to now they’re absolutely insane. Warriors numbers aren’t as good, but I think a lot of that is injury related.

–Edit to add numbers to the warriors sentence, don’t want to imply that I don’t think the Ws aren’t as good.

That Raptors team was up 3-1 before anyone got injured and Kawhi was the clear best player in the league over the entire playoffs that year.

Bell Biv Devoe was there?

Uh, maybe you didn’t watch that series buddy… How many of those first 4 games did Kevin Durant play?

That Toronto team has a deserved ring, but they’re the weakest team we’ve seen win in a long time, and would have been waxed by a healthy GSW, or either of these two teams.

Durant also didn’t play in the WCF that year that the Warriors swept. By that logic, this entire Celtics run is fraudulent too since they haven’t played a full strength team.

OK, so you do know Durant didn’t play those first 4 games against Toronto? Might want to edit your prior post.

Did you see where I said the Raptors ring is deserved? No one’s arguing they’re frauds. Just that they are a very weak champion historically.

Kind of like the Bucks last year - only got past the Nets because Harden got hurt, and then Giannis undercut Kyrie. The playoffs are a slog. Of course it’s fair to point it out for the Celtics, too, though they’ve had the Time Lord and Smart injuries keeping them from being full strength, too. Raptors had tremendous health for their run, and I think the Bucks did too - maybe Donte was hurt? He was a nice little bench piece. MIL never should have traded him for Ibaka.

You think trading Donte for Ibaka was a good move? Yikes.
