And yet, you didn’t, and are complaining about it instead. Curious.
So the only source you have is a guy that was nabbed for personally betting on games and affecting the outcome. Nobody else has corroborated the story.
I’m going need a bit more than that, sorry
He knows absolutely nothing about basketball talent. He may be good at betting, but he is not good at “basketball”.
I’m not complaining about it, I’m just stating what I saw with my own two eyes and responding to pushback from Warrior slappies.
Game 3 will be minorly rigged in favor of the Cs and I’m betting accordingly. It’s not a Silver can’t afford for the Cs to lose this game level of riggage but Cs winning is the desired result and will want to make game 2 up to the Cs.
If/when you complain about it, I will agree with you because I’m not a child who believes that NBA refs are beyond reproach.
Great, I don’t need him to be good at evaluating talent! Citing him re: who to bet on and referee riggage.
Wow, you may be the only person on the planet who thinks that game wasn’t rigged. I just pulled up the first Google result as a point of reference.
No point discussing this with you if you aren’t going to acknowledge game 6 Kings-Lakers was rigged, lol.
I thought I missed game 3 last night. Watched the first quarter this morning before going wth. To be fair to me I missed the first quarter when I originally watched it.
Best analysts in the game break down the series so far. Already felt pretty good about GSW but this makes me feel even better.
Kinda wild everyone thought this Boston defense would be a tough match up for the warriors offense, but it ended up not being the case. The Curry pick n roll is 1.2 points per possession which is fucking insane. Their offensive rating when he’s on the court is 121, which is better than any player in the post season so far against this defense by a massive amount.
Basically Celtics are going to need to find a huge adjustment that changes how this series is going
I think the game was reffed horribly. I’ll even concede the possibility the ref had a vested interest in calling the game in favor of LA.
I do not think that Stern ordered Bevetta to ensure the Lakers won the game, and that Bevetta told anybody that would listen that he was going to rig the game for the Lakers based on the word of a convicted criminal
That’s not the accusation. The accusation is that Bevatta was able to use common sense to determine what Stern would want, did that on his own and then was rewarded with more games and assignments as a result. And of course refs are paid on a per game basis to this day, lol.
Of course Stern operated in a way to give himself implausible deniability and would never be caught ordering the riggage directly.
Pretty much exactly how Trump got the morons to storm the Capitol even though he explicitly said for them to be very peaceful, wink, wink.
Oh.
So Bevetta read his mind.
Well hard to argue against that!
And a $10 billion organization can’t see the problem with paying refs on a per game basis nor figure out a better pay system… even after a major game rigging scandal. Sorry, we’ve racked our brains and this is the best we could come up with
#wasjustonebadapple
Wouldn’t not paying them per game create an incentive to end a series faster so they aren’t effectively working for free if the series goes on?
Only if they are stupid enough to cost their employer hundreds of millions of dollars in lost revenue and face Silver’s wrath.
I mean the refs just straight up told you there is no objective standard and they massage the calls with the Draymond tech overturn. Why do you all refuse to believe them?
Are you reading these posts?
We haven’t had a close game for 3 weeks. Why aren’t the refs doing something about that?
You’re arguing that gamed are rigged…everyone knows it…but the lined never reflect it. You’re rich off of this, surely?
Shitty earlier rounds are not as damaging as the Finals being shitty plus the earlier rounds being shitty makes the need for a good Finals all the more urgent.
I think the refs did try minor riggage in earlier rounds but if a team is raining 3s then what are you going to do? Certainly not worth bringing out the big guns to go all out on rigging a Conference Semifinals.
The lines reflect it and it is well known that the lines reflect it. Celtics were +3.5 for game 1 and +4.5 for game 2 despite winning game 1. This happens all the time, called the zigzag phenomenon.
Stop the steal!
I mean you asked why don’t the betting markets reflect riggage and they clearly do. In my subjective opinion the markets are underrating the riggage factor that went into game 2 but that is just a matter of scale, everyone with a brain knows it is rigged to some degree.
You think after a game where the Celtics were outplayed the majority of it, then had a +24 4th they deserved to be more of a favorite, even when GSW also had an important player returning from injury?
If you actually think this you really should not have bet these games, you know less about ball and betting than my fiancé who has never placed a bet in her life.
