Boston hasn’t been great at home. Why do you guys think that is? 9-3 on the road, 5-4 at home?
Seems weird as hell. They’ve been best road team in the league and one of the worst at home. Obviously not related but Boston fans are the most infamously racist in sports so I’m glad the team does better away from them.
Dunno which games it’ll be but I expect them to split these next two games. Past experience says boston wins 3 and GSW wins 4, since Boston hasn’t lost b2b games yet and are super inconsistent and not great at home. That said I got a feeling GSW steals this one.
Boston goes into the half up 8-12. 3rd quarter warriors mollywhop them, go into the 4th up 10-12. They only rest Curry 3 mins though and he comes back in the 4th around the 9 minute mark and closes it out.
Nah, you are the MTG/Trumpers denying he had anything to do with Jan 6th.
I’ll give you a hand on this one since you are struggling so bad, the square response to the zigzag phenomenon isn’t to deny it’s clear existence. It is that the losing team has more motivation for the next game and vice versa for the winning team.
Basically predicting that Draymond would come out like a madman in game 2 while just glossing over the fact that the refs would allow him to physically assault people without repercussion.
Does anyone have any non-ref comments or insights into the series? lol
Celtics blitz/trap less than any team in the league on pnr, but it looks like they’re going to have to come out of their comfort zone to slow down Steph. They are very likely to win this series with Warriors averaging 108 ppg. Warriors are extremely experienced in dealing with that and letting Dray play 4v3.
Will be very interesting to see if that plays out tonight. Might decide the series. If they can blitz Steph and Klay/others still can’t get going Warriors will lose. But like I said they’re way more experienced in playing like that so they should have a big edge.
I think it evens out. Boston obviously had harder longer series so the rest benefited them a ton. On the other hand warriors stars are older and rest benefits them too.
Difference is guys missing more games and forcing Cs to go deeper into their bench versus achieving peak performance. Problem with the former is if a guy who can’t hang is forced to play in a Finals game then he is hunted relentlessly.
So something I found that I don’t like. Record implies Celtics are much better on the road than at home. But looking at the stats, looks like they’re just as good, they just lost a couple close ones so it’s just statistical noise. Only take away is they don’t have a big home advantage like most teams. That said Warriors have been significantly worse on the road.
Undefeated coming off a loss. Such a weird inconsistent team. Last two series they lost every other game besides the two in a row to close out the bucks.
