National Basketball Association - 2022/23 Season (Part 1)

Jokic getting MVP isn’t really justified. Nuggets have the #5 team in their conference.

I, too, can play this game, even though I think this game is dumb. Also, I think everyone appreciates Jokic. A lot.

LolSixers. Sucking up another 4th quarter. This time the Pistons have outscored them by like 17 since about the 8 minute mark. Down 11 with 1:25 to play.

They aren’t going out in the second round again. At this rate they are not having home court and going out in the first round.

man cavs I badly need you to hang on to the 7 before this damn thing starts.

also draftkings I got some beef with you not letting me cash out of those bets like everyone else did

Giannis officially became the Bucks all-time leading scorer tonight. He’s the real mvp no matter what the media says.

Losing Sexton, Rubio, Allen, and now Mobley with Okoro and Garland sprinkled in is just too much to overcome. Incredibly, Love has been the team’s Iron Man. First half of the season sure was fun though.

they have orlando and the knicks it ain’t over yet man, it ain’t over yet. (for my wagers anyway, not talking about their playoff chances which are indeed toast)

I got no wagers. Just a disappointed fan.

Giannis now +550
Jokic -200
Embiid +200

On a similar subject, while KD is a fantastic player I don’t understand how often people will just cite him as the best player in the NBA

Who else would you rather have take a shot for you in a last possession scenario?

He’s shooting 40 percent in the clutch this year

The Bucks were pretty happy with the outcome of Kd taking game winning shots last night

Probably the greatest single season in the history of basketball

Reason hes #1 in all advanced stats

Dragic was WIDE open under the basket when KD took that shot lol

Fucking Doc is wild. He did the same thing he did to Simmons to Harden and threw him under the bus.

The Sixers coach’s postgame comments after another tough loss, this time toe the Detroit Pistons led by rookie standout Cade Cunnigham. The question was about the bench unit struggles and quoted as:

“They didn’t struggle, they didn’t get a lot of shots in their defense, in that stretch it was more James than them. Just a tough night.”

A little interesting that the Bucks have the #1 seed in sight and are resting everyone, but at the same time, they had a rough OT game last night and at least both Giannis and Jrue clearly got banged up, so it’s understandable. Health going into the playoffs is more important than seeding.

That’s nuts.

Who is the other one?

Dang. Was hoping giannis would sit out mavs game next

I don’t think you can blame that on Durant. With 3 seconds left you pretty much have to call and catch and shoot play. If Durant has any space he should shoot immediately, so he can’t really be checking to see if Dragic has a free run at the basket after he inbounds. Even if he spotted Dragic, would be pretty tight in 3 seconds for Durant to pass to Dragic and then for him to get off shot.

All thats true but in this rare case i think the top seeds would prefer not to face the nets in the firaf round. So depending on where they land for the play in i can see the top seeds tanking to avoid them
