National Basketball Association - 2022/23 Season (Part 1)

The team isn’t pushing him out, he’s already been banned from the Uk for quite a while, hasn’t been to a game in years and is scared they will seize his assets.

Fairly nitty but Moody is still only 19 until May.

Tough loss tonight. Jokic reminds me so much of Timmy.

oh my bad lol.

Yeah, that 3 from Curryland that Chiozza chucked up late in the 4th was painful.

Still, not the worst sign playing Denver tough on the road with the 2nd team.

I sold my Moody 4K a week ago so he’s probably about to go on a tear.

This seems a good way to ensure that the Westbrick name is going to get more traction.

I am sure Simmons had jaylen brown 2 behind Tatum.

  1. Tatum.

Joran Poole needs to be more consistent really. He has games where he looks like an all star, and also a lot of games where he is terrible. Overall his stats aren’t great this year, plus a liability on defense, but you can see the potential.

I think a big part of the warriors problems outside of not having Dray is Klay. Trying to get him in the line up and get his shots, he’s been chucking a lot of bad shots that has taken the team out of rhythm. Hopefully with Dray back to handle the ball the team can get back in rhythm. If so I still think they have a chance at the chip, but its probably only like 10%. We will need last years Curry in the playoffs and I don’t know if he’s got that in him anymore.

He’s been at 63% TS last month and a half but he isn’t taking anywhere near enough shots.

Are you really better off if Poole is consistently average and never looks terrible nor like an All-Star?

I mean they doubled Curry almost the whole game. Very odd strategy lol

Was awesome to see Klay get his though.

Luka fouls smart, up 3 w 5 seconds left behind three.

Mavs challenge the call and successfully over turn it even though it was a foul.

Edit: guess you can touch the hand after the shot is released.

Mavs win. Still not sure why luka is not in mvp picture. Mavs have as many or more wins than Philly or Denver or Milwaukee. If you take luka out of the mavs they are unwatchable. Giannis might be as important but Philly and Denver are much better supporting casts.

I think jokic should win it, but it’s silly that luka is not in the convo. Second best record since January 1st. His stats qualify him to be in the mix.

His slow starts seem to get him disqualified from the narrative every year. Starts in not great shape too.

Is true that the MVP narrative is a season long one, where the early part can count for more than later on, which seems backwards, but I get that’s how it is.

Which advanced metrics best support this claim?

This. Also I hope he doesn’t win it. Dude skill is super unique and incredible to watch but the way he throws fits like a petulant child like 10 times a game is absolutely horrible. I know lots of players complain about foul calls and I don’t like that either but Luka is next level with how childish he does it.

I wanted to like him so much, his skills are incredible, but god damn dude jumping up and down and then sitting on the floor because he didn’t get a call is big yikes. Leads the league in techs every year too lol
