Demar Derozan hits two buzzer beater 3ā€™s at the end of the game to win in less than 24 hours

I saw some of him and heā€™s dope. I prefer handles + shooting over driving by a huge amount though.

Imagine getting cut from the Cavs for throwing soup and somehow find a starting gig and doing this.

Or imagine being a 26 year old who was on 8 nba teams already and finally got himself a major 2-year contact and doing this.

How many fans of other teams are going to be clamoring for a buy-low trade on one of these guys.

Wood has some value, no one cares about Porter

Gianniā€™s had a triple-double Saturday: 35-16-10. All 10 assists were for threes.

Sucks for Jalen Greenā€™s development that he landed in that dumpster fire. Not saying it will happen here, but environment definitely ruins some players potential.

Isnā€™t John Lucas like a known problem child whisperer? Seems that would make other teams that much less likely to take these guys.

Youā€™re right. The John Lucas I know was point guard for the early 80s Warriors, a top tier tennis player, and started a drug rehab clinic for athletes. A solid guy with 50 years in the league who specializes in tough cases.

Yikes. Too lazy to look it up, but the Warriors canā€™t have won that many games without either Klay or KD and where Steph plays 30+ minutes while shooting under 33%, ya?

maybe he was counting how many eths we sold our mutant ape for

He had a few decent games sprinkled in the last month but definitely in a slump and last night was outrageously bad.

I kinda wonder if itā€™s just variance? I think part of it is now confidence because last night he hesitated a few times on open for him 3ā€™s.

From my understand shooting is like the least likely skill for a player to lose. Other than bad shooting heā€™s still playing really well. Best defense of his career, getting his teammates open shots, good passing, very few turnovers. Shot just isnā€™t falling. Hope he comes out of it soon, they have such a well run org they can still win in the regular season with his shots not falling, but they arenā€™t going anywhere in the playoffs with him playing like that.

Also I caught Morants game last night and I changed my mind. I still prefer elite shooting over driving, but the dude is fearless. Just ready to jam it on absolute monsters.

Grizz team is just super fun to watch in general.

Weirdest call Iā€™ve ever seen in Lakers-Kings game. Lakers miss a FT with 24 seconds left and all the players except one King run up the court. Kings player (who is only player within 20 feet of the ball) lets ball hit the ground to save time since clock doesnā€™t start until you touch it. However, clock operator starts the clock inadvertently. Kings player complains (still hasnā€™t touched the ball) and refs blow play dead. Refs rule it a jump ball.

Yeah that was fucked up. Apparently once the whistle was blown and possession was never established jump ball is what youā€™re supposed to do. So it was technically correct but still dumb and fucked up. Refs have discretion and should have just put time back on the clock and gave kings the ball.
