Give me one of those GM’s who have never made a horrific move.
In fact, I’d bet that almost every (or every) GM has made more bad moves than good. They just need the bad moves to be minor and the good moves to be big.
I agree but I would take it one step further. You can make the right decision or move and have it turn out horribly.
Conversely you can make a move with an -EV and have it work out wonderfully.
Results do matter at the end of the day and calculating the EV of a move is impossible. I want a GM thinking in these terms though.
