Been rewatching this 90s show, and there’s this character whose blonde lover died, but here comes a brunette who looks exactly like her (same actress), so obviously he puts her in a blonde wig and falls in love again.

I wouldn’t call anything in Quaid’s career successful in the last 20+ years. He’s more successful than Randy, but he’s probably taking most of the parts Randy would have had since he can’t get good parts anymore.

Reaching the bar for “more successful than Ricky Schroeder” (it appears I misspelled Schroder; oops) does not exactly require an Olympic pole vault. It mostly consists of booking sporadic work and not getting arrested.
What’s funny is Ricky would be more successful if NYPD Blue was in reruns. I think he did 3 seasons of that, but I haven’t seen anything suggesting it’s in syndication.
