Miles Teller’s performance in the TV show The Offer is a true WOAT. He does this ridiculous thing to get his voice into a lower timbre and it sounds awful.

I really liked The Spectacular Now too, though I don’t remember his performance too specifically. He’s obviously not what JK Simmons is in Whiplash, but I do think he does a solid job.

Miles Teller was great as Peyton Manning on SNL:
I am not a fan of Miles Teller and I think the only movies I didn’t mind him in were Whiplash and Top Gun Maverick.
I disliked him very much in The Spectacular Now. I just couldn’t buy him as the charming, popular drunk guy or whatever he was supposed to be. He felt miscast to me.

Going to see Predator Badlands today. Not really my kind of movie but some of you here said it was decent so we shall see.

Was going today but my tennis got moved from morning to afternoon. Looking forward to your take.
Like I said not my favorite genre but I thought it was really well done. It went by lightning fast, at times too fast. It hit the penultimate battle and I didn’t even realize it. Elle Fanning was great.
One part of it that I loved was the worlds used. I am a big MMORPG player and I was salivating to play a game in that world. So many creatures, weapons and more. I thought the world building was a+. The plot was probably a b. Acting a-. I thought all the predators were great, and Elle was top notch.
The battle scenes were really good and as I mentioned the creatures and weapons really stood out.
I would play a predator mmorpg tomorrow if it took place in these worlds.

Couple of the slashfilm boys HATED Running man. Called it worst film of the year.

It’s pretty fun. Very disposable though. If Glen Powell is the lead, it’s going to be an enjoyable Polaroid at best.
