Was about to say Guy Ritchie but I suppose Snatch was at least fine.
Just saw the Gentlemen though, utter trash. Smug Matthew McChonaughey in Lincoln car commercial for 2 hours basically.

Guy Ritchie for sure. Snatch is fantastic and everything else makes me wish I was watching Snatch
Well idea was Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels was the original good movie, admittedly I havenāt seen either in a while canāt compare the two too much.
Iāve watched Lock Stock perhaps more than any other movie and it keeps getting better. Snatch is an inferior remake with bigger stars and sloppier writing.
I just now dug through your post history on movies so I could make some snarky āYou like x/y/z therefore your opinion is invalid,ā but I think you have excellent taste. I will holster my joke and revisit LS&2B. Maybe Iām missing something.
In addition to having over a dozen insanely rewatchable scenes, Ritchie also tied up every single loose end in his Byzantine plot. He tried to do the same thing in Snatch but failed, leaving a bunch of stuff unresolved. The script is just amazing. And half the cast are actual criminals who had never acted before.
