Cheers!! A bright sign for 2023.
Watched Donāt Make a Move the other day. Realized after starting it that Iād watched it before but went ahead anyway. Very enjoyable, 1950s Detroit centered around the auto world, criminal heist gone wrong, lots of big name actors, I could watch Benicio and Cheadle all day.
Just watched Jerry and Marge. Throughly entertaining. I havenāt been to Evert in over 40 years. No idea if the town continues to benefit from the cash influx. 4/5 bags.
Total chad move waiting until you are in your 70s for that nine figure payday
Good for them. Glad they spoke up while they still could.

Is it just me or has there been like 5x as much solid content in Korean compared to English on Netflix over the past 2 years?
The Glory just came out and looks awesome too.
Amazing. Like everything I loved about the original Robocop and a lot more.
M3GAN is getting lots of very good reviews. Sounds like they managed to find the right amount of campy self awareness to make it work.
Movie 43 gave the definitive short film on embodied AI (NSFW).
As well as this Oscar-worthy performance from a young Emma Stone.
This is exactly what made Malignant so good. Fingers crossed that they did it again.
Not sure if there are rules against this, but I rarely go to the theater for movies anymore and have a $50 Fandango electronic gift card and $150 worth of AMC electronic gift cards (one for $100, one for $50) if anybody is interested. Will sell for 20% off the value of the card, or 25% off if you buy them all.
Looking for quick recommendations. Fun enjoyable stuff, not too complicated, not too female or male, that I might not have seen.
Also saw The Menu last night. Good but flawed movie. Loved the first half or so, couldnāt decide what it wanted to be in the second half. If youāre doing a horror/black comedy you kind of have to commit to one of them (for example Ready Or Not commits to being a comedy). This movie was tonally schizophrenic and didnāt really have any clever ideas to back up its admittedly awesome premise. But still a good time. 7/10 or so.
Also watched a climbing doc called Meru on Netflix. Recommended if you like such things. Fuck these guys are insane.
