Oh man, Samurai Cop and Miami Connection are also gems, also available on Rifftrax.
“Deathrace 2000” and “Master of the Flying Guillotine” way too low.
Where is Wedlock? Rutger and Joan Chen in a prison with no walls. You just have an unknown partner and if your get more than a certain distance apart, both your collars explode.
Nope.
Visually it’s amazing. The mood is great. The plot is a total disaster. It makes zero sense and is pure swish cheese of script.
Grade: B-
Are they fighting the Navi?
Atlantis.
Like, Aquaman? Isnt that a different company?
Not too interested in any of the Marvel movies, but the She-Hulk show looks fun.
no. Like Marvel. Namor is the antagonist in this (though I think he later turns helpful, not sure where they’re going with it, in the comics he is technically Marvel’s first mutant)
The trailer is emotional because of Chadwick Boseman’s passing and what he meant to so many people. Black Panther was legitimately the best Marvel movie and the representation was deeply meaningful. It seems they are going to handle it with the respect it deserves.
There is a lot of crossover of similar/stolen ideas. They both have a speedster, water dude etcetc
Nope
YUP
It’s great. Probably #3 on the Jordan Peele list, but still great (he set a high bar for himself). Visuals, cinematography were top notch. I often found myself just enjoying the view.
OK The Grey Man is pretty great if you’re in the mood for a stylish John Wick knockoff action/spy movie. Gorgeous shots of cities around the world, solid witty banter. Cooper, Evans, & de Armas are some of the hottest human beings in the history of cinema. It’s dumb and pretty, I like it.
Jesus Christ they announced like 30 more marvel films going into like 2025. These people have to be stopped.
They all make a billion dollars, you think they’ll make less?
This isn’t a spoiler, so don’t worry. Reading a review of Nope and it seems as if the writer doesn’t know Fry’s is a real store:
“a Best Buy clone called Fry’s”
*was
Still a couple locations open but the big one up here in Roeville finally shuttered about 8 weeks ago.
Tragic. Fry’s was an amazing store at its height. Think Best Buy but with awesome prices AND all components for DIY comp builds. The prices were seriously always great and the guys who worked there knew their shit.
Can you remind me of the others? One is obviously Get Out. I know there is another that I meant to see but I totally forgot to see it and forgot about it until I heard about Nope. Got to see that one and Nope. I could look it up but I don’t want to accidentally spoiler myself.
