Yeah, I don’t disagree with that.
But if your first exposure to SW is TPM in your mid 20s, I can understand not wanting to see another one ever again.

Today I learned there’s a sequel to Inside Man on Netflix starting Rhea Seehorn? I can’t believe I’ve heard zero about this considering how much I like the original. I assume it’s going to be terribly disappointing.
WTF, really? What is it called?
Your expectations are probably correct, but I’ve still got to see it.
Inside Man: Most Wanted
Watch party imo
It is. I mean it’s ok but compared to Spike come on. It’s like a non sequel sequel. As in, decent B movie really but let’s tack on 2 lines about a character from some other ip so we cal sell it as a sequel. Would have seemed better without the raised expectations imo.
If you mistakenly click on “The Inside Man 2” on imdb a very good score pops us. Fuck.
Two frames from a 20-second teaser for a new PBS nature show called The Green Planet:
It’s probably just a coincidence but I really want it to be a subtle homage to Frank TJ Mackey.
Yeah, we still randomly quote that in my household.
So Mad God is basically like a movie-length Tool music video. It’s like a claymation H. R. Giger adaptation of Dante’s Inferno directed by Panos Cosmatos. Stunning visuals, strong recommend, well worth getting a trial Shudder subscription.
3+ hour doc on the making of Blade Runner
Only an hour in
What? Where?!?
This streaming site lol was gonna watch star wars after searching 'Harrison Ford ’ but saw it
So I’m chilling out and watching the latest Rifftrax, which is Day of the Assassin, starring Henry Silva, Richard Roundtree, and Chuck Connors. And my god, this movie is like the fucking Citizen Kane of 70’s exploitation films. It’s like having Charles Bronson inject cocaine into your penis, this movie is magnificent, it’s all of the 1970’s in one film.
Easier to sweep the Razzies than the Oscars I guess.
It’s Greta Gerwig! While the surface topic has zero interest, this is a huge favourite to be awesome. No chance it’s some vapid doll story. It’s likely a deep dive into feminist ideas about female objectification.
It’s got the hottest actors in the biz, what more do you want?
