"Missing" persons and other murder mysteries

Actually now that I type it, maybe it does relate to motive?

“Members of the jury, my client is Totally Fucking.”

Still seems like a stretch.

“Members of the jury, I know the murder weapon and eyeball witnesses and crime scene fibers and his own mother testifying against are weak evidence, but have you seen how dry his dick is?!?”

Replies to some of his posts have chatter now. For example his very last post:

There were some comments in one of the post-arrest mega threads that made me try and find it - “there was a very active poster who is now quiet”, “he was absolutely sure who the targets were” - but those threads are 1000’s comments long now so apologies but I’m not scrolling back through all of that.

Reporters have talked to former friends. They’ve talked to former classmates. I haven’t seen any quotes from former partner-type friends. So there’s that.

Neighborhood incel that’s from around these parts. His town is not even an hour from me by the crow’s flight and I’ve never heard of it, which is actually saying a lot because I thought I had taken every country backroad in and out of Cincinnati. Kind of scary imagining all of the backwoods county seats you’ll never know about harboring sleeper incel populations.

Tres Genco, 22, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one count of attempting to commit a hate crime after admitting he planned to target and kill women at an unnamed university in Ohio.

In one post, Genco went into detail about spraying “some foids and couples” with orange juice in a water gun. According to authorities, “foids” is an incel term short for “femoids,” a crude term referring to women.

Genco also expressed admiration for Elliot Rodger, a then-22-year-old who killed six people and injured 14 others in Isla Vista, Calif. in 2014, according to prosecutors.

Oh yeah and I saw the biggest incel vibe is because dude is apparently vegan.

Seriously though he is apparently vegan and two of the victims apparently worked at the most popular vegan restaurant in the area.

Weak jaw? Tough crowd.

90% of the public is undateable.

There any further news on motive etc yet? Not saying I don’t appreciate the incel debate. Had been following this case a bit (unusual in this day and age to see a major murder go unsolved this long after all).

They worked at a greek restaurant. Not sure why people on reddit are running with it being vegan. I see no indication of that at all.

The first Greek vegan restaurant in human history?

There is like zero indication of him having a gf, friends or any social life - but maybe those people are (understandably) not interested in coming forward. This dude seems almost invisible.

Media really playing it up how he was trying to commit the perfect crime but since he drove his car to the killing, that seems debatable.

Some crazy stuff in the affidavit:

  • He left a knife sheath behind with his DNA.
  • Roommate heard the goings-on, then SAW the murderer as he walked by her, so she went back in her room and locked the door. Was another 8 hours before police were called.
  • Cell phone data shows him in the area of the house a bunch of times in the weeks leading up to the murder, and the morning after.

Sounds like a criminology student who didn’t spend enough time watching reruns of “Forensic Files”. So much for committing the perfect crime.

He should be charged with having a cell phone on (at the location of the crime). Amateur hour.

Yeah it’s sounding less like an attempt at committing the perfect crime and more like he specifically wanted to kill someone in the house. I don’t get why he didn’t kill the roommate who saw him, and definitely don’t get why she didn’t call the police.

This is a real puzzling one to me for so many Modern day criminals. Unless you are committing a crime in the moment, why would you ever take your phone.

Heck even the fake murderers in this case (allegedly two frat dudes who said they left their phones at home streaming u ending YouTube to cover their tracks).

I get a strong impression he has been stalking one or more for a while. Also that one of the surviving housemates saw him is really chilling. Not sure how you get over that nightmare.
