Hate! Iām your hate when you want love for the world.
Have you bros heard this thing?
Just about fell out of my chair when the vocals started. Incredible imitation from this Blake Arendell guy. I prefer it to the real version, not gonna lie.
If this is what KIA sounds like to the uninitiated ear, yikes, but yeah vocalist has young Hetfield down. Lux is a pretty good effort, I have some hopes for the new material, I thought the last album had 2 all time tracks on it (Halo&Spit out the Bone) and a few very good ones.
I like Atlas, Rise! quite a bit. Also Moth Into Flame is kind of simple but decent enough. But yeah lot of dross on there otherwise.
The door cracks open, but thereās no sun shining through
Black heart scarring darker still, but thereās no sun shining through
Saint Hetfield
lol alternative
donāt mock the kid with the less-than-ideal childhood iirc
Im your truth, telling lies
Iām your reason, alibis !
Iām inside, open your eyes
Iām yawwww
Fuck em, mang, white knuckle tight. I see red through black and white
On I burn. Fuel is pumping injine!
Oh man I feel so old who is this geezer oh itās James Hetfield. He looks healthy tho.
Been loving the YouTube videos from their current tour. Incredible that they can be still playing this good 40 years into their career.
Proud to say Iām among the earliest of Metallica fans. 1985. College radio. 1AM Friday nights. Thrash metal show called Hit the Lights. Only time and place you could hear such music. And each show begins with, you guessed itā¦
Was always a metal head throughout my teens but never heard anything like it. Rushed out the next day to the record (yes record) shop. Buy Kill 'Em All. Play it for my friends. None of them got it then. Within a few years, they were all rabid fans.
What bothers me is that metal is essentially dead. I had actually intended to visit Poland on a different week than I did this month in order to go to a metal music festival there. However, when I looked at last yearās festival, it was kind of sad. There were more people in the crowd than there were strands of hair in it. It is clear that metal music simply isnāt connecting with young millennials and zoomers.
I know itās a cliche to say but Lars truly is a bad drummer. On his good nights heās OK, on his bad nights he really drags things down.
Thatās the scouting report on Lars. I do think he at least performed well on the songs featured on their official YT videos during the European leg of the tour. The entire band sounded tight as Iāve ever heard them, and the production quality is amazing.
