I’d rather have the Supreme Court being seen protecting Trump in a partisan manner than Trump in jail. At this point, it’s more important to create the political will to do something about the Supreme Court than to see Trump punished.

It’s been just over 2 years since he has been removed from the powers of the presidency. I will admit that from here forward with every Friday I wake up and don’t see the breaking headline I’ve been waiting for, I will start becoming increasingly more and more worried
I’m going to say July 1, 2023. I have no particular reason for choosing that date, but it’s when I’ll give up all hope for accountability. For now, I’m still willing to wait until Smith turns in his final report and recommendations
