Eh, in this case I don’t think so. Trump has it coming. He’s one of the worst people on Earth. His wealth is the most important thing to him, so if he’s having financial problems, hit him where it hurts.

I mean, we’re talking about the guy who’s in charge of the country and whatnot. Some of us have legitimate concerns that he has issues with substance abuse, mental illness, or both. It’s not ok to talk about that? Or are we saying it is, but there’s a line? If so, where is it?
And I mean, it’s not like history isn’t replete with examples of rulers who were touched. Hell, look at the Habsburgs.
Because even referring or implying that someone with ADHD is “mentally ill” is not only wrong but it is feeding the stigma associated with these kinds of disorders.
Strongly agree that we should avoid casually tossing out diagnoses like these, especially when they are meant to deride.
I have been very open about my mental health for years and the amount of vitriol and cruelty tossed at people with such disorders is significant and widespread, which I have experienced over and over, even here.
The problem here is that it’s extremely difficult at times to measure intent.
Like if I say he has ADHD, I actually mean it, I really believe that’s one of his (many) issues. But my antipathy for him is not going to allow it to come across in any way other than derisive.
I agree he comes off as some kind of ADHD and I see your point but just wanted to point out that it’s a tricky line to walk and we should be really considerate when doing it.
Like, in the way that cuomo and don lemon talked about it last night was just full on stigma mode, they described him as an adhd kid hopped up on too much adderall. That’s clearly wrong to me and demeaning to kids who have ADHD and are medicated.
There’s such an insane stigma surrounding adhd medication and it’s really easy to feed it with stuff like this.

Yeah I’m not even sure why ADHD was even mentioned since proper doses don’t have anyone that twerked. Almost like they were trying to limit the harshness of the speculation.
He had to be on a 90mg dose plus if we are talking adderall. That is abusing the drug (not that I really care if people do).
