So like I said, this wasn’t my favorite category, so this is going to fall into Eh, mostly meh, pretty good, and I liked it enough.

There really isn’t one major stand out to me, so Ill probably be tossing around the podium up until the reveal.

Sigh. I’ve always wanted to like Dinosaur Jr. I really have. But god damn, its just always terrible. Its whiny, its full of wa wa guitar bullshit. It tries to change things up around 1:50, but by that point I just want it to stop. They took a great Cure song and just died all over it :frowning:

Melt banana song keeps growing on me!

Reminds me of the garage band my friends and I had when I was in my late teens - early 20s. It’s a great combination of easy chords, simple solo, and silly singing that would have led to lots of drunken fun.

In 12th place, scoring 4 (2.5,2) Spinetta - Let Down by Easy Star All Stars

Combine my general overall dislike of Reggae with what sounds like a guy attempting to eat his mic, and this is a recipe for disaster. The song its covering was actually new to me, which was nice, since I tend to enjoy Radiohead and didn’t know this one, but this cover does nothing for me. Got me moving just a bit more than Dino Jr. up there to move up a spot.
