Jesus’s superpowers are making wine and walking on water, I guess it’s not surprising that he sits out all of these battles. Plus the nonviolence thing.
So he’s one degree more useful than Aquaman.

I am pleased with the first episode of She-Hulk. It feels very true to the character, retaining the silliness and fourth wall-breaking of the comic books.
Thought it kinda sucked. We didn’t need a whole half hour for She-Hulk’s backstory, that should have been covered in the opening credits. She’s a lawyer who hulks out, that’s all we needed to know.
I heard that she-hulk was completed and in the can and then the disney execs went in and cut up the pilot and rearranged everything with scenes from much later in the season because they thought people were too dumb to figure out what’s going on.
You need to establish how she is not a female Bruce Banner. Bruce’s Hulk is not just some rage monster but a manifestation of mental illness. Jen Walters is psychologically much more healthy so she doesn’t hulk out in the same way. She’s not a lawyer who hulks out, she’s a hulk who thinks lawyering is her superpower.
The MCU Hulk got like two minutes of backstory and that was fine. No one wanted to hear how Hulk became Hulk. Just say this lawyer got irradiated and now she hulks out, that was all we needed.
Also why does a Hulk need a training montage and meditation, what are we even doing here.

Instead of a lawyer turning into She-Hulk, they should have shown us how She-Hulk passed the bar and became a lawyer.
All I know about She Hulk is that reading those comics at age 12 has given me a lifelong kink about muscular green women.

Happy with She-Hulk episode 2. I enjoyed the humor. Payoff to what seemed like a throwaway line in episode 1 about Ched.
Yeah, ep 2 is better, much more the kind of show I was hoping we’d get.
