Marvel Cinematic Universe

I really liked She Hulk. Especially the body double for the Hulked out version of the character. Look at these two lol

A real shame if we don’t get a second season or return of Tatiana’s Hulk in some other way.

She-Hulk should have had zero action and been 100% legal drama like Perry Mason. Every week she gets another supervillain off on a technicality. All the Avengers are pissed at her, except Hulk. What a show.

I really enjoyed She-Hulk. Would’ve liked a little more action maybe, but what they did with it was fun. Finished Loki S2 yesterday and man, I wish there would be more. S1 was better, but S2 grew on me and even if it “wasn’t as good” as S1, it was still good.

Speaking of James Marsden, wife and I just started Jury Duty. Pretty funny so far.

She-Hulk was fine but the ending fell a little flat for me. I agree that I would like to see these MCU shows take on a bit more personality rather than just be extensions of the MCU films. I just watched episode 1 of Echo and it’s about what I expected. Not bad as it can be carried by the cast and characters but I’m hoping for a plot line that’s less formulaic.

I’ve watched The Marvels a few times now. Miss Marvel is my favorite current MCU character and I loved the direction hinted at by the pre-credits scene much more than the mid-credits scene (which is still good). There need to be more non-angsty superheroes who are heroes because they are inherently good people who don’t need the motivation of some trauma or need for revenge to do good.

Well I’m glad I recently watched Loki.

Oh my

Variety: “Madame Web feels like a cross between an extended soda commercial and a teaser trailer for still more spinoffs.”

I was going to give Madame Web a shot, but I believe the critical reaction has scared me straight.

I approve.

This is a movie that, if done right, could get people excited about the MCU again and be really good on its own merits.

Not surprised in the slightest. The extended spiderman universe has been one terrible film after another.

Wait what? I though Pascal confirmed he wouldnt be k. Fan4stick. Maybe Im thinking of someone else.

Edit: oh yeah, it was Steven Yeun in the Thunderbolts. Nevermind

That name sounds familiar.

Is that cousin playing Thing?

Richie from The Bear? Yes, same dude. I’m very thankful The Bear apparently cranked out production on season 3 so quickly, with the cast blowing up it feels like a sports team that’s over the cap and ready to be blown up whenever just due to finances.

Animated ones, tho.

This is awesome. Love Vanessa Kirby. And the other three are huge favorites to make the roles charming. This feels potentially like the casting of Iron Man way back when.

You’re so right. I’d gladly tip my hat to they old Avengers never appearing again if we replaced them with Fantastic Four and X-Men. Those two franchises also have appropriate big bads to unify all of the characters in lots of crossovers with an epic finale equal to Endgame.

I really wish the MCU had gone all in on Secret Invasion as the next big crossover. That could have been a multi movie saga if they’d revealed multiple heroes were not human.
