Major League Baseball (Part 2)

That squeeze was huge. Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen one.

Free rolling with the Cy on Saturday.

My dad had the bare minimum stage 3 diagnosis and has been cancer free for 5 years and is going in for a ct scan at the end of the month after a physical this past week.

I still have the actuarial tables in my head and it’s been on my mind the past year.

Don’t ever let political angst take your family time away. I’m learning this the hard way. (This wasn’t for anyone in particular).

Lol Padres brining the absolute peak of WIL.

Fucking losers.

Shut out two straight games, ouch

Lol at throwing out the WIL card in a playoff baseball game. Try harder dude.

This is the Mets year. Dodgers back off.

I’m so sorry for your upcoming loss. :frowning:

A subway series would be miserable. I’d have all my TVs and devices turned off and would still be able to hear the media straight up jorking it.

On the contrary, I’m all in for Subway Series 2.0. Time for the Mets to get their revenge!

Well us Tigers fan can enjoy the extra few weeks of relevant baseball.

Go Guardians. Hate everyone else.

Have you looked closely at this Diamond Sports Group bankruptcy case?

I don’t know anything about it at all. Is there something interesting that’s worth digging into?

I’m not sure but MLB has more or less accused them of sophistry from the very beginning. They terminated the contracts of 11/12 MLB teams with deals several days ago which has put the state of televised baseball in 2025 into question.

Brewers broadcast is going to be run by MLB. There will be a dedicated Brewers TV channel in the market and a direct-to-consumer app. They’re actually pretty excited about it because supposedly they’ll have a lot more features on the broadcast that Bally’s didn’t have.

Yeah that’s true for the teams whose contract ended this year I think: Brewers, Twins, Guardians. Some of the other teams had much longer agreements and partial ownership in the RSNs so not sure what’s gonna happen there. MLB tried (unsuccessfully) to unseal the renegotiated agreements between DSG and the NBA, NHL which makes me think they know something shady is going on.
